The injury fallout from last night
Have there been any updates on any of the players taken off?

I'm guessing it's going to be several weeks for Reid and O'Brien, which leaves us very short at the back. (It's about the time of year for our annual defensive fitness struggles) Tomkins is going to be out for a little bit as well, isn't he.

Maybe Kouyate might be back for saturday? Not sure what the protocol is with a player who has been apparently knocked out. Perhaps he'll get a rest.

Kouyate gas concussion and is out.

Byram Collins Ogbonna Cresswell.

Oxford as CB cover, Antonio would have to slot in at full back I'd imagine

Valencia also looked like he hurt himself and Carroll appeared to be struggling at one point but both appeared to run it off...hopefully!

Kouyate was just dazed. O'Brien 'tight' after being out a long time. Valencia just bruising. Reid might be a while though.

Collins felt a twinge too.
At least one or two injuries per game now which according to WHO is perfectly normal.

don't sound like Kouyate be involved weekend if this right

West Ham injury news: Cheikhou Kouyate to be assessed after night in hospital, Winston Reid could miss a month

West Ham are counting the cost of their dramatic FA Cup victory over Liverpool.

Angelo Ogbonna’s stoppage time goal in the final moments of extra time sent the Hammers through to the fifth round of the FA Cup, where they face an away trip to Blackburn Rovers.

But the victory came a price.

Three players were injured in the fourth-round replay at Upton Park, which was settled by an Angelo Ogbonna header at the end of extra-time.

Cheikhou Kouyate caused real concern for his team-mates when he was knocked out following a clash of heads in the second half.

The midfielder was able to walk off after treatment but spent the night in hospital and will now be monitored for six days, after which he will be assessed.

Winston Reid could be out for a month after damaging a hamstring and fellow defender Joey O’Brien, who made his first start of the season, came off injured after 82 minutes.

Collins and Carroll both looked like almost went off straight after coming on

Is the six days a required thing?

Re: The injury fallout from last night
Carroll got hurt by Mignolet who caught him as they jumped on the edge of the area. One of those where you could see the keeper have the opportunity to clatter the opposition as well, and he took his chance.
In fact, I don't know if it was me but there was a over physicalness to Liverpool's game where we were constantly fouled where they challenged for ball's they had no chance of getting. It was great to see our boys get stuck in(though some come off second best), as they knew in this game you really had to fight and earn the right to win.
Saw a real determined side of this team that was great to see when needed. On some occasions, we need that bit of fight in the league games as well.

Antonio was lucky not to get injured when he fell on his head. He must be made of granite.

Don';t think so

Henry is fit though, and Song can play there 9Kouyate too if fit)

Totally pissed off with the amount of injuries we have picked up this season when you compare it to the likes of Spurs and Leicester who have had hardly anyone injured.Even Vardy seems to recover quickly when he might be out for weeks.
